I'm a registered dietitian with a Masters Degree in Nutrition. I've earned a Certificate from La Varenne Cooking School in France as well as a Certificate in Nutritional Cooking from Greystone/Culinary Institute of America and a Certificate in Adult Weight Management from The American Dietetic Association. Most recently, I completed a college level program in Chemical Dependency Treatment. I've been an elementary school teacher, a Realtor, a college instructor and a cook. I've had my own segment on local morning news, worked in public relations and taught at a culinary school. I've been a spokesperson for the food industry and worked in public health. Now I'm a freelance food and nutrition writer. I write restaurant reviews for a local newspaper and nutrition articles for several magazines, both professional and consumer. In my spare time, I write creative non-fiction.
